Member Responsibilities
To help achieve C-Change's goals, Members are asked to fulfill a number of responsibilities. Specifically, C-Change asks that its Members:
  • Participate in C-Change as individuals, but bring the perspective of their agency or constituency to C-Change.
  • Participate in two semi-annual meetings of C-Change held in the spring and fall of each year.
  • Contribute to additional C-Change efforts by joining an Action Team or workgroup.
  • Respond to member "Calls to Action" efforts to leverage the power of our collective organizations.
  • Help to ensure that their agency or constituency assumes responsibility for addressing relevant aspects of focal areas considered at C-Change meetings.
  • Routinely brief their agency or constituency on major issues or focal areas considered by C-Change.
  • Identify linkages and collaborative opportunities by joining with others at C-Change table who share similar concerns and desired outcomes.
  • Serve as an advocate of the overall C-Change concept and a united cancer community committed to the eradication of cancer as a major public health problem at the earliest possible time.
  • Seek to identify prospective new Members and bring them into C-Change process through established procedures and guidelines.
